Dun, dun, dunnnnnnn! My sister is known for trying to change any plans that I make, even though we have agreed upon them well in advance.
We are supposed to meet on Sunday at a huge sports bar halfway between where we all live on Sunday to exchange gifts and catch up. I set these plans in motion as soon as we got back from vacation. Food is good, prices are right and good location.
She calls today to ask if I want to go to this ghetto gambling place where they do video slots and eat at their Sunday brunch buffet (barf). I hate buffets and this is not a secret. Plus, I don't gamble at those things because I am not 88 years old. On top of that, the buffet is like $29.99 a person.

I hope you stick to your guns and make her keep the original plans. That sux she keeps doing that, and that price is crazy high for a friggin buffet! It better have caviar and lobster for that price, sheesh.
I told her that there was no way I would go there unless she paid for my meal. That solved it.

I knew this was about your sister! For being a bit on the cheapie side, I'm a little surprised she would suggest a $30 buffet. Then again, it's what she wants to do so she doesn't care.
Your sports bar idea sounds great, will she be joining you guys or gambling with the blue hairs?
