Hi! I know this isn't a forum for Dayton, but my new husband & I moved to here (Dayton) a few months ago for the military. Are there any Christian couples on here from the Dayton area or does anyone have ideas for having fun in Dayton or day-trips to Cincinnati? Thanks!
-Cristina
Re: New to Dayton
Check out Ikea in West Chester if you are looking for anything for your new place!
Go to a Reds game when the season starts.
Cincinnati Zoo is nice
Welcome to the board!
Welcome! I am also in Dayton, born & raised. Where are you moving from? Do you have any kids? Any pets? Tell us about yourself!
The Greene is an outdoor shopping area located off Indian Ripple Rd & I 675. There are several restaurants and hang outs and of course plenty of shopping.
Hi Cristina ~
MDH and I are also in the Dayton area & always appreciative of and interested in spending time with young christian couples as well! As mentioned The Greene is a beautiful outdoor mall with lots to do. Also the Yellow Springs area is a fun little town to visit. Lots to do in both Cincinnati and Columbus but Dayton offers a few hidden gems here and there as well
xoxo Rachel
Hey, everyone
Thanks for getting back to me.
Okay: I have heard about the awesome IKEA & I will definitely have to check it out; thanks!
We both grew up in California & that's where we moved from. No kids yet, but our 4-year-old boxer, Maggie, is our baby! Ooh, and yes, I LOVE the Greene! Went there just yesterday.
My husband loves to go running at a couple of the metroparks and I've been with him to one for a hike, but I didn't know they hosted events...Cool-I'll have to look into that!
And Rachel, it's exciting to hear about other Christian couples in the area; maybe we can get in touch. (Also, we love Yellow Springs!)
Thanks for the warm welcome & all the ideas, everyone. I look forward to getting to know you on the knot
We have a 1 year old boxer named Maggie!!
