What's cool to do/see this time of year?
Hey, all! Happy Holidays! I'm super into the season this year, and I just wanted to see if anyone had any local must-sees or traditions they wanted to share! Also, general winter-time ideas are appreciated.
I'm alone with my 7-month old a lot on weekday evenings and weekend mornings, and I like to get out of the house! Also, I try to pack things into our family time later on the weekends, so I'm basically always looking for things to do.
Thanks!

It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!

Our baby girl was born on April 27, 2011!

Let's see...
Friends of Pawtuxet Village is having their Christmas Stroll on Saturday. http://www.friendsofpawtuxetvillage.com/
Winter Wonderland in Pawtucket ends this weekend.

LaSalette Shrine's Christmas display through all of December

Edaville Railroad is an option, but I heard it's sort of a madhouse, so I'm going to go to LaSalette instead (hopefully).
As for the rest of winter, Kite Tails in North Kingstown is an indoor play space option, and it's free until babies are 1. They're starting to have more evening and weekend hours. Not sure how often they update the website, but they update facebook almost daily with their hours.
kidoinfo.org has a lot of stuff listed, but most tends to be for older kids.
That's all I can think of right now...
I haven't been yet, but I heard of this place that is an indoor playspace like Kite Tails (although it looks a lot bigger!). It's in North Attleboro, so it's a lot closer to you than Kite Tails is.

we go here and my kids really enjoy it. It's affordable, too, IMO. $35/mo for 2 kids, unlimited.
