Metrowest restaurant rec?

I meet up in the Natick/framingham area with some college friends once a month. We need some new ideas for non-chain restaurants. Any ideas?

Re: Metrowest restaurant rec?

  • If you like really spicy food, there's Sichuan Gourmet in Framingham.

There's a Chinese place in Natick on Route 9 called Feng Shui that actually has a pretty good all-you-can-eat buffet, and you can order lobsters separately for like $5 each (and they're good).  You can also order dishes a la carte, but the buffet is a good deal with good variety (and this is coming from someone's who's Chinese, though it's been a while since I've been back out there).  Nice decor, too.

There are a couple of BBQ places in Natick, but I'm blanking on the names.

I don't eat in that area very often, so I'm grasping at straws a bit.  What a fun tradition though!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • If you would include Wellesley in your area-  Alta Strade and The Cottage are both great.

In downtown natick- Maxwells 148 is delicious and a bit more upscale.

     Have fun!

  • Thank you both for the suggestions!
