Where to job search?

I need a new job desperately.

I'm stuck looking at Indeed and LinkedIn.

Where else can I look for a professional job?

Thanks!

  • I've gotten my last three jobs off Craigslist and they've all been professional jobs. Two were at smallish-sized companies and my current job is at one of the largest US private companies. Sometimes CL can be good because many times it's the hiring manager that's posting the job rather than HR which can help you get through some of the red tape. Good luck!

  • This is not a real question without details. Start with industry and experience.

  • other sites i looked at regularly:

    mediabistro.com (i am marketing/publishing)

    idealist.org

    washingtopost.com

    opportunityknocks.com

    usajobs.gov

i never had much luck with craigslist but that is how DH found his job and i did still keep an eye out.

also, just look on the sites of places you might want to work.

  • Usajobs

I use a few industry specif sites too, but they won't be helpful unless you're in the same field.

  • I've used SimplyHired.com but to be honest my past few jobs have come from recruiters seeing my LinkedIn profile.
