LOVED this episode. Kudos to the person who said Charlotte was Emily's half sister. I look very forward to seeing where this goes. I'm also surprised that David Clarke was certain Charlotte was his.
Was it just me, or did Emily start the fire in the reporter's house with Amanda's lighter?

Re: Revenge Spoilers 1/11
She totally did.
I loved this episode. I especially loved how much time Emily spent with Nolan. I adore Nolan.
I am not surprised that David thought with certainty that Charlotte was his. He and Victoria seemed very close in the time before his arrest. It may have been an act, but from other flashbacks we've seen, Victoria seems to feel (or at least felt) very guilty about betraying David. I would guess she either told him Charlotte was his and/or he put the pieces together.

OMG! i didn't even put that together!! but, it WAS her lighter! wow.
i also loved how much emily was with nolan. adorbs.
serious kudos to the poster who called charlotte being david's child! on point!
I saw it was fake Amanda's lighter but I took a different view of it.
Since Emily took the time to start the cigarette burning and use that I thought she was trying to make it look like an accident... not frame anyone.
I think it's Emily's way of sending a message to Leo. "The Grayson's can't actually protect you from everything" And leaving him a clear sign that the fire wasn't actually the accident the fire department thinks it is. It's a way to get in his head.
I think it's risky for her to set Fauxmanda (stealing that from another site, I like it) up for a fall. Emily's starting to tell her too much, she could easily tell the police all about switching identities and Emily's plan to reveal the truth about her dad. Emily needs to ship her out or somehow get everyone to question her sanity so that no one believes anything she says.
Also, I know it was last week's episode, but why isn't Emily's secret under-the-floor hiding spot better padded? Tyler seemed to find it pretty easily.
I must have missed something, did she actually leave the lighter somewhere?
That's what I get for trying to take care of the babe while watching television.
Yea, she left the lighter right next to the cigarette on the manuscript.
She left the lighter next to the burning cigarette on top of the only copy of the memoir.
I'm not so sure she's trying to set up Fauxmanda (I like that, too) rather than send a message to the author. Next week's fallout will be interesting.
I also loved the Nolan-Emily together time! The episode was great overall.
so i was talking to my mom about the episode and she wanted to know why in one of the up coming episode preview someeone said you have jacks blood on your hands...and it made me think.....was that lighter that was used to set the house on fire really "amanda's" what if its really Jacks....and jack is accused of arson?
I could be wrong but I think the preview showed Jack getting beat up.
