After my test today I spiked a temp -- not a normal side affect. They think I have mastitis...She's 1 in less than 3 weeks and I get mastitis now?! WTF And I can't nurse, just pump the best I can until Sunday..ugh!

Sorry.
What causes mastisis? Is it an infection or something else?
Yep :-( Makes your boob hot to the touch (not in a good way) and hurt like heck.
Sorry Maria. I dealt with it when D was about 3 weeks old. The meds were nasty but I felt better within hours.

Not an appropriate thread for laughter, but this made me chuckle.
Thanks for the tip.
It is funny, when I get a high fever I can't think straight and I don't think I realized how much pain I was in. Once my fever broke and the meds started kicking in and Ella tried to use my bewb to help her stand up I was like OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
Feeling much better today, thank goodness.
