Travel insurance Qs...
I know there have been several mentioned on here (insuremytrip.com, travelex, travelguard).
We are just starting to look for it for our cruise later this year.
Which insurance plan do you normally take out (medical? accident? complete coverage?)
Up to how much should I take it out for (it's just me/DH and we're in early 30s)?
Any fine print I should look out for?

Whenever I leave the country I make sure I have full medevac coverage. That's the only thing I'm really concerned about.
I'm not worried about getting sick in a foreign country. I am worried about a freak catastrophic accident that will land me $500,000 in debt before my feet hit American soil. If I need to go to a pharmacy and spend $20 on some drugs it's no big deal, so I don't bother with other medical coverage.

BTW- do I need to purchase travel insurance after x# of days after I book the trip, or can I do it a few months we leave for vacation?
