I need suggestions. My best friend is getting married this spring. I'm her MOH (and she was mine).
I want to get her something awesome for a wedding gift. Something different (not just something off the registry). I looked on etsy for a bit, and found a few things, but want to get her something really special.
Any ideas?

Re: Wedding gift help
If you want something more personal, I would look on Pinterest. Tons of great ideas on there!
If you're going more practical, I guess it depends on your budget.
A couple things we didn't register for that we really loved: a new grill, $100 with a note that said it was to be spent only on our honeymoon spoiling ourselves, a handpainted sign with our last name for our door from a local craft store.
Are she and her fiance coffee drinkers? After our wedding, I splurged on a Keurig, and it is awesome! I know some people are hesitant to spend that much on a coffee maker, but it is really worth it.
I love court's idea of the personalized hanger. That was one small thing I would have loved to have for my wedding day but did not find it on etsy until it was too late to order. But that seems more like a bridal shower gift to me.
I'll keep thinking. I am horrible at gifts. I normally stick to the registry or gift money.
Ditto this. Obviously it had to be given after the fact because it included items from the wedding, but we were also given a shadowbox full of wedding mementos. It also has our names and date etched into the glass. It came in a Pottery Barn package, so I am guessing that's where it was purchased.
I really, really loved and appreciated this gift because in the craziness of the wedding, I forgot to set things aside to keep for ourselves.
I am loving this idea! I have my SIL's wedding coming up in June and think she would love something like this!
I thought of something similar, but it would also be a gift that would have to come after the wedding. You could take her bouquet and have it preserved in a shadow box. I have seen it with invitations and/or wedding programs inside the box with the flowers.
i also was looking on etsy for a friends engagement and came across so really cute ideas that I'm sure can be used as wedding gifts:
