Baby Eczema

Does anyone have any tips for helping my baby with his eczema.  He had a few spots now and then but lately it is getting worse.  His entire back is now covered.  I feel so bad!

Re: Baby Eczema

  • I totally understand...my little guy gets eczema too.  We bathe him in mild soapy water, everyother day in winter.  You can use aquaphor bathing soap and we lather him in aquaphor after the bath.  if they are super bad, we put a little a and d on the spots.  It does the trick for us. :)

  • Nicholas always ends up with mild eczema every winter, so I just slather him with Aquaphor at the first sign of any dryness and it never gets to the point of looking terrible. My sister's DS ends up with terrible eczema all the time. I believe she used Eucerin on his on a daily basis when he was that age.
  • Good tips!  K has eczema on his arm all year long, so I will have to try this!  We have had Eucerin since he was a babe-just forget to lather that arm!
