Confused Why unnecessary? I admit that I probably only know 1/4 of the drama with his last wife but he has a "new" wife and people thank their wives. What am I missing?

ETA: I do understand your subject title though. Any ex wife, especially a recent one with public drama, might understandably be throwing things at the tv.

I think he's a total douchecanoe, but so many winners thank their spouses - I don't think it was "unnecessary". He may well have been doing it, in part, to get a dig in at Camille in case she's watching, but I doubt that would have been his sole motivator.

I agree his had every right to, I just question his judgement given the publicity surrounding his douchebaggery (and her participation in it). The room was clearly already feeling icy toward him, I don't think that move did him any favors.

I didn't think it was unnecessary.

When he did interviews for his new role a few months ago, he said that Camille basically talked 24/7 about hating their marriage and wanting a divorce. Then on camera she acted like she was blindsided when he filed for divorce.

I think she's milking it.

I'm imagining that I'd rather have everyone else icy/icier toward me for thanking my spouse as opposed to my spouse being icy toward me for not thanking him! Just sayin...

3/4 of Hollywood divorces and/or cheats on their spouses. I'm sure a greater percent are douchebags. I'm not sure why anyone would be "icy" towards him for that. Do you think anyone in that audience cares about what happens on Real Housewives?
