Storing bras

I kinda have a thing for bras. I have at least a half dozen, in different colors, padding, and "sexiness" haha.

I don't have a drawer in my dresser available for them, because I only have four drawers that I'm allotted (my H has the other half), so I am looking for an easy way to store these.

Any suggestions?

Re: Storing bras

  • I don't have a dresser at all :/ all my bras and panties are in the bottom of my closet in a cute wicker basket. I stack all my bras with the cups inside each other for extra space. works for me :)

I stack mine the same way (cups of one bra over the cups of another), but in a drawer.

  • No room in the closet :( It's pretty small, so our boots are the only thing that fits in the bottom of the closet.

We just got a new dresser for Christmas and I love it, but it just doesn't have enough storage! Maybe at some point I can add the chest of drawers for a little bit more storage.

I wonder if you could get a decorative chest for the top of the dresser or a simple one for under the bed? Idk.... hmmmm no room in dresser or in closet.....

  • When I had no dresser, I would hang my bras on hangers...over the bottom part (like where you fold your pants over).  one cup on each side.

  • Growing up, my mom had this neat dresser. It was tall and thin, she called it a lingerie dresser. It couldn't have been more than a foot wide by a foot deep but was about 5 feet tall with like 5 drawers. She kept her undergarments in that...I always wanted that thing, LOL

I don't know if they exist normally, but it may be worth googling? My grandpa had made her hers (theoretically for other purposes, but this was her purpose for it.)

  • Try looking into the hanging shelf organizers if you have roomfor that in your closet or depending even the hanging lingerie organizer that looks like the ones they have for jewelry
  • Maybe a cute bin or a box with a lid? You can put it next to your dresser or on it or in your closet?  They could even be organized by style or color just like when you shop for bras in the dresser drawers of VS!

  • I'm totally looking up lingerie dressers now.

  • I actually have two dressers- one for bras/socks/panties and the other for pants and shirts.

I actually have begun to hang up my lingerie in our closet and it keeps them from being wrinkled. Saying this meaning, see about some bra hangers and hang them up in the closet. They will stay as fresh as the day you bought them.

  • Mine are jumbled in with my undies. But my mom hangs hers on hooks inside her closet. It's on a wall that has hanging clothes coming up to it - so the hooks are under where the closet rod is attached. That way they're not in full view if you're just glancing in the closet. They're just regular robe hooks, the kind that has 2 prongs side by side. You could hang 3 in a row and have a 2nd row if needed.

  • Thanks for all the great ideas! I like the hook idea too, I have a bit of room on the left side of my closet that I could hang a couple hooks.

  •  I think if you love your bra collection so, you should create an installation art piece of sorts...

but maybe not on the lawn.  Seriously, could be cute along on wall or something. I saw really cute clothespins @ JoAnns today.
