Re: How was your weekend?
It was okay.
Had a good time out with friends on Friday, Saturday was mostly relaxing with a little cleaning on the side. Went over to another friend's house in the evening to watch the football game and socialize.
Yesterday could have been better. My team lost the playoff game so we were pretty down about that, and I have a weird pressure/cramping thing going on in my side and it still hasn't gone away. I slept like crap all night because of that, but I am hoping it goes away soon.
Fri/Sat was great! We went bowling Friday night and relaxed all Saturday.
Sunday kind of sucked and was awesome all at the same time.
H had to work and I decided to be proactive (without his help... flame away) and clean the house by myself. I'm proud of how much I accomplished and how much I motivated myself. This is not a normal occurrence at my house. So yay me!
Saturday we donated our air hockey table, our indoor basketball hoop, a VCR, rock band stuff, 5 bags of clothes and some random stuff to a shelter in the next town over for kids who have been abused.
Sunday we went to my SILs for my nephew's birthday. It was fun. He isn't in daycare so it wasn't a bunch of kids running around thank god. We ate cake, had fun and left. Then we went home and watched the Giants put the beat down on the Packers. Then we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 2 and Back to the Future. It was fun
Well, Saturday was the second of three memorial services for mom. I was still wanting to kill an aunt but I chilled out. Sunday, I had breakfast with my bestie and DH and we headed to the VA hospital in Milwaukee to visit with my grandfather since it was chaotic so I did not get a chance to talk to him at the memorial. We drove back home but stopped at an outlet mall to shop for some running shoes and DH caught the last of the GB/NY game.
He almost called my eldest brother to gloat about the Packers loosing. I think we as Bears fans are bitter. Ya think?
Overall, the weekend was good and now on to having a normal life outside of school. This is the hard part.
It was fantastic! GO PATS!!!!!!!
Sunday was a bit ouchie, ouchie, chicken broth, shower, grocery shop, forever lazy
AND my electric blanket.
