If you had to go buy a car today, what would you buy?

I really like, and have had no issues, with my Volvo so I would probably start there. DH wants our next vehicle to be a SUV so maybe the Volvo SUV or Nissan Murano.

I married into a Honda-loving family, so probably another.

We currently have an Accord and a Civic Hybrid. Both are great cars, though maybe a CRV next time? That'll be in many years though.

I honestly think I would buy the car I own. 2011 Ford Edge SEL. I'm still in love with it a year later.

I've got a relatively new Volvo SUV so if we had to buy a car today, it would probably be to replace DH's Honda Accord - I'd replace it with an Audi A6, but I think he'd get something else given the choice.

If $$ was not an issue, however, I'd get a Range Rover Sport. I know they cost a million $$ to own and maintain, but I just think that they are so darn cute.

DH has a Lexus hard top convertible. Last year was the last time they made them, but he would get one used again in a heart beat. I have a Toyota Camry, my MIL gave ti it me when seh moved into a retirement home. Not sure I would get it again. It is a great car - just a few years old hardly any miles on it, but it is a bit boring.

something with a 3rd row - right now our cars only seat 2 adults, including the driver, and the 2 car seats; it would be nice to be able to take a trip with the grandparents or other family members in the same vehicle.

I love the car I drive and it's still brand new (bought it during Hurricane Irene, lol), so I'd buy it again! It's a Nissan Xterra.

We are in the process of deciding what kind of car to get DH. His lease is up April 2013, so we're trying to decide if we should buy it out or get something completely different. I personally don't like his car, so hopefully he'll want something different! If we had to get him a new car today, my vote would be for a Honda Accord or a Volvo S60.

A Subaru Forrester (but DH does not like the newer ones so he would want a used one) or a Jetta wagon. I love my CRV, and DH says he saw the newest one the other day and he likes it, but I haven't seen them.

Good question! I think my Mazda Tribute is starting to show its age, so I've been thinking about this. Ideally, I'd like something the same size but with a third row of seats that fold down. I like the older Highlanders but the new ones are so much bigger. Right now I have my eye on the Mazda CX9.

i haven't had a car since i graduated from college so this would actually be kind of difficult. i've liked driving subarus and acuras a lot so i guess i'd start there.
