I had a great weekend in Chicago, despite the snowstorm there. Caught up with my friends, ate ridiculously good food, checked out the Field Museum...it was great.
Then last night DH and I went to that all-you-can-eat sushi place I've mentioned before and did some serious damage. I'm such a glutton
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Weekend recap?
DH flew out very early yesterday morning. So yesterday felt like Monday and today is my Tuesday. I'm all messed up.
We did TONS of packing this weekend. We have made some serious progress. I can't believe the move is in two weeks, it's so exciting but so scary.
This morning I cancelled my family membership at the Y because I hate their childcare so we had stopped going. I then joined a new gym that offers child watch but since it isn't a family gym and the childwatch is more $, there are much fewer kids, more staff, and an awesome play place. Woohoo!
That sounds fun!
I never get "full" eating sushi, so I'm sure I would have done some damage too. Now that I am a reformed sushi hater and like it now LOL
Friday we had a pajama party play date because one of my mom friends is moving. There were 8 babies there and it was mass chaos but a lot of fun. DH and I cooked italian for dinner and watched The Cove when DS went to bed.
Saturday we went back to negotiations for the house, then took foster dog to his meet and greet. We made chili in the crock pot so that was so good and ready for dinner! I don't think we did anything Saturday night, just hung around.
Yesterday DH worked all day, so I just let DS tear my house apart then the people from the meet and greet said they didn't want Guinness and then the baby sitter came and DH and I met some friends for Restaurant Week for dinner.
That's all!
I had a Mom's Night Out on Friday with the moms from my playdate-- had a blast. Much needed social time! Saturday, I was a bum and didn't leave my couch for the most part. Sunday, we went to my parents house, watched Moneyball and had dinner then went home. Not too crazy.
Aww, Punky, I'm sorry Guinness's adoption didn't work out. How long has he been with you now?
PJ party sounds fun! Hope you get good news on the house today (or in the next couple of days at the latest).
Wanna know how much we ate at dinner? DH insisted on counting it up. Six rolls, 20 pieces of sashimi, two pieces of nigiri, seaweed salad, miso soup, four pieces of octopus tempura, three scoops of green tea ice cream, and one scoop of red bean ice cream.
All for just $21 each though (before tax & tip)!
Whoa!!!
G has been with us since September!
Yeah, I wasn't kidding when I said glutton
One of these days my metabolism is going to totally crap out and I'll be so screwed.
Wow, is this the longest foster you've had?
You glutton you!
Saturday I did some damage at the yarn store in Needham, and hit up some of their consignment shops. I told DH I'd love to live there, but I'd never be home and we'd be broke. Spent the evening watching football
Sunday I went to a kick-butt yoga class, and we took DD out to a cute bar & grill in Easton for lunch. Drove around and looked at some drool-worth houses, then prepped the house for the contractors, who showed up at 7:35am today...
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Oh no. We had Mischa for about 7 months and Arly for 6 months.
Sorry the placement didn't work out, Punky, but I hope you get some good news on the house front!
Saturday, we ran some errands and grabbed lunch at Cabot's. (mmmm..cake batter frappe...) Then we watched a lot of football. Yesterday, I cleaned the apartment a bit while there was more football on. Then we watched the Golden Globes and drank too much wine. Waaay too much. We were both off today; I spent the day on the couch reading, and my husband played his video game for like 5 hours. We're awesome, heh.
