Sewing Machines?

Hey guys,Does anyone here know their way around a sewing machine or is good at troubleshooting problems with them?From some limited research, it seems like the hook timing is off on the bobbin so the thread is not catching with the needle.I have a Singer Heavy Duty that is 2 days old. The problem started when I was sewing piping and the thread bunched up under the bobbin plate. I snipped the thread but the bobbin thread wouldn't catch after that.I would appreciate any ideas!

Take both the top and bottom thread out and rethread the whole thing from scratch.
Blow some canned air in the bobbin case.
If that doesn't work, return it for warranty repair. Its 2 days old.
You can adjust the timing yourself. I do it all the time on the older machines I buy. But this is a 2 day old machine. Don't muck with it while its under warrenty.
eta: removed link. I googled and got the one I thought I used before, but looking at it again, it wasn't and was just something selling something. Sorry!
