Have any of you ever tried Megabus? We are planning a trip to DC in March. Originally, we were going to just drive up to DC, but I was playing around today and saw that Megabus has $1 fares to DC from our city. I'm curious if any one has actually tried them out. Thanks for your help!
Re: Megabus ?
Yep, I've used it several times to go to Chicago. The buses are clean and usually not that crowded. Sometimes they run late, but it's never been an issue for me.
In my area, there's no great place to park to hop on the bus, but such is not the case in other areas.

I used it from Chicago to Columbus and there was a boy scout troop on my bus. They sang and did not quiet down the entire night (yup, bus left at midnight or so).
Never. Again.

Every one that I've ever seen in operation on the road, the driver is acting like a total fool idiot. Speeding, overly aggressive driving, you name it.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!

I've done it and find it very reasonable and reliant. I've used them from NYC to DC, Boston, and Philly. I've never had a problem.
The $1 fares don't always last long though, so if you see it, get it. Worse comes to worse if you don't use them, you're out a few bucks.
