Disneyland with a preschooler
I have been to Disneyland a dozen times or so, but this fall will be my first time with a child in tow. I'd love to hear your tips for Disney with a child.
Re: Disneyland with a preschooler
Are you staying somewhere near by?
We just went last fall. I'd go as early as you can and stay until you need a break. For us that around 2:30. We went back to the hotel and took naps and then went back later.
Pack snacks that aren't messy and easy to eat. Definetly take a stroller even if she hasn't used one in a long time.
We didn't get to everything, and that was ok. We did let the kiddos decide mostly what rides to ride (and that meant we did It's a small world 3 times!). I think they partially liked it's a small world b/c it never had a line and lasted a long time, so they could really sit and enjoy it.
For the parade- we stood at the VERY end. I would recommend that b/c we were there almost all by ourselves and the kiddos got lots of attention from the characters.
