TOMS ballet flats, anyone else want a pair?
I have to say, I'm not a fan of their "elf" shoes. But I'm really liking these in
cream. For everyday, casual errands.

::lurker::
Those are freaking cute!
yes. yes i do.
i keep toying with the idea of buying a pair of toms in general. the standard slipons - i hear they're comfy, but i don't think they'd look good on my fee. the wedge - i love, but don't know how much i'd wear them.
the flats - completely me. i so want a pair!
i love the wedges, but the fact that the toe is slightly open bothers me. that and i feel like they're very "summery", thus limiting when i could wear them. because i care about things like that.
are the flats on the website yet? i check a week or so ago and they weren't out yet.
also, the wrap boots are kinda repulsive. i don't know if anyone can change my mind on that.
and i wanna get C some babyTOMS. how effing cute are they?!
I've never seen the boots, but I'm quite sure I won't like them.
The baby TOMS are delicious. I'm going to buy some for my niece.
holy cuteness.

Those ballet flats are awesome!
I have a pair of houndstooth wedges, and I have worn them almost every day since I got them (H got them for me for Christmas). They are super comfortable, which I was not expecting, and I am completely in love with them.
Want those!
Love regular TOMs too. They are super cute and comfy.

I have the regular ones. I got them for Christmas in pink corduroy and I love them. They are sooo comfy.
I hadn't seen the flats until now, and I want.
Agreed.
Also, I don't like ballet flats. AT ALL. I have long since abandoned fashion for comfort.
Signed,
Unfashionable.
I'm not a fan of the politics of TOMS. Blake Mycoskie spoke as a headliner at a Focus on the Family event this summer, and has given talks at several evangelical churches, which makes me nervous.
Also using poverty as a marketing tool skeeves me a little.
Updated September 2012.
I generally don't like them.
But.
My SIL got Elizabeth a pair for Christmas, and they might be the cutest things ever.
This, yes. But the tiny toms are insanely cute and tempting.

Although Blake Mycoskie might be a funky looking bedhead, I still really like his One Day Without Shoes idea. I tried it, walked carefully to and from my car at work. Then wanted to go to the grocery store - everything is so dirty. Plus my feet started to hurt, and then I kept noticing broken glass all over. Who breaks this much glass? Regardless, I found it oddly eye-opening. It was super lame not having shoes - which makes me appreciate his initiative that much more.
