I don't know who he is. I tried checking spoiler pages to find out. Not a whole lot of info.
I did like that Emma told Mary Margaret, Henry told her that she was suppose to be her mom. When Mary Margaret saw her baby blanket and smelled it is seemed to trigger something.
any idea's as to where rupple's son is?
also....with the fact that he had a blank card to tell emma who owned the compass makes me believe he knows everything and knows who is who in both worlds....

I still can't believe she's lying to Henry about his father, so lame and it's gonna come back to bite her in the ass.
I find myself feeling bad for Rumple, which is weird since he is supposedly a villain. I, too, was wondering where his son ended up.
I also thought the stranger was Henry's dad, but Emma's reaction (or lack thereof) nixed that idea. I wonder if there will be a romantic interest between them.
I definitely think both Rumple and the mayor know exactly what is going on and who everyone really is.
He could still be Henry's father and Emma is just lying that she doesn't know him. He could also be someone the queen brought in to distract Emma.
I saw the previews from the next episode and it looked like Emma really didn't know who he was, but maybe that is what they wanted you to think.
I was thinking this too, now I don't have a clue. I'm glad they ended the episode this way though, it was almost a happy ending but this gets people thinking.
Yeah, I'm thinking it's what they want you to think. I think Emma kind of believes what Henry is telling her, which is why she is staying around. I think she is curious as to why another "stranger" might be in Storybrooke.

I think it's unlikely bc his son would be older than Gepetto, We saw Gepetto as a child in the episode with Jiminy Cricket. Rumple had already turned into the Dark One at that point. Also, those that are under the curse cannot leave Storybrooke, and it seems like the Stranger came from out of town.

It would make sense that he isnt anyone because he came into Storybrook, but I saw this http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/once-upon-a-time-2012/episode-11-season-1/fruit-of-the-poisonous-tree/319533 I wonder if he is the Genie? He is suppose to stick around for a few episodes.

I still like this theory...for one because of the whole not giving his name....kind of like the Rumpelstiltskin story...and I think Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin could have had the forethought to save his son from the curse in some way, like the way Emma was saved.

I agree with you 100%. Wonder if he'll therefore turn into a new romantic interest for her.
I also agree with the PP who suggested that Rumple probably knows who everyone is. I wonder, if this is the case, why the curse didn't affect him the same way. Is it because it doesn't work on baddies?
