well that was humbling...
i went to a bar last night to hear a band play with some friends. we walked in and i automatically handed the bouncer my ID. my friends fake pouted to the bouncer and said, "hey! WE didn't get carded!" and the bouncer said, "neither did she." OUCH. (he looked at my id because i handed it to him but apparently only wanted the cover). in my defense the guy outside said "he'll check your id inside" and then we went in and there was a guy there so i handed him my id (which took me like five hours to find in my purse which made it doubly embarassing). and it's not like i think i look under 21 but i thought it might be that they check everyone. boooooo.... getting old sucks.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

I haven't been carded ina while and I was carded one day last week in FL. I am never usually carded when I'm out with the family.
Wow, I agree!
What's funny to me is that I didn't get carded when I lived in Louisiana at all. I did in SC, but not really that, that much even though I look like I'm twelve. Here in Knoxville I get carded every, single time. They also card H who definitely looks all of his 33 years. They even carded my dad one time so my grandpa gave them his ID too. They're crazy about carding here.

i used to look younger. i hit 38 and hear ma'am ALL the time now and can really "see" my age. it's depressing.
I hit 25 and got to hear ma'am all the time. Annoys the crap out of me. I started going grey at 14 (yay genetics!) and if I don't keep up on the dye, I look a good 15 years older than I am. J has 5 grey hairs. I hate him.
They don't scan our licenses here.
