I went out today and got a new tattoo. I made a quick pencil sketch for the artist and he drew up the design. The heart is for two people, a mom (the taller side) and a child. The one star is for my Mom and the two are for the lost pregnancies. I think he did a great job. FWIW, it hurts more to be tattooed on your ankle than it does on your back.

I never would've thought it'd hurt more than the back, but maybe because there's more muscle there than in your back.
