LOL, I get to pick another paint color
We have an in-law suite that was added to our house in 2003. It's a 2-story area, including a BR and BA upstairs, and a LR, kitchen, and 1/2 bath downstairs. We've taken over the upstairs BR and BA as our master, and the downstairs area is set up with a Q bed for visitors. Problem is, the area is open up the steps to our room, so we wanted to put a doorway in to give everyone more privacy.
The contractor is here this week putting up a new wall and doorway. And I just realized last week that the new wall means I will (oh darn) have to paint the lower room. It's a blue that I can't stand (and my dad agrees), so it's off to look at more paint swatches!

Re: LOL, I get to pick another paint color
LOL! I'm itching to finish the short wall in our DR, and starting the kitchen. Then there's the issue of the lower hallway. I want to paint that awful yellow and just hire someone to do the stairwell. DH wants someone to do the whole hall and stairwell. Who knew I'd want to take over someone else's job?

I could/have spent days pouring over the color wheel. So many choices....
No idea. DH has already nixed light green. I want something to go with the pale yellow in the kitchen, the dark wood of the bedroom set, and the crappy Berber carpet. And I'm tired of picking gray.

Sorry, I know you didn't ask for suggestions. I can't help myself sometimes.
Yeah, should have mentioned it's now an awful blue. I may go a really pale lavender...
