Does anyone have any suggestions for some good magazines. I've been reading wedding magazines for the past year. Need help!
Re: Best magazines
I get:
Lucky
Real Simple
Shape
Cooking Light
OK!
I usually try to find free subscriptions online.
I used to have subscriptions to Southern Living and Coastal Living but am trying to cut down on my magazines.
Sometimes Shape feels like its recycling the same stuff, but I enjoy it overall.
O - Oprah Magazine
Real Simple
I just cut down, but also enjoyed People Style Watch, InStyle and Lucky.
my read shelf:
I second this! When I get this magazine each week, I read it cover to cover. We also get Fast Company, Better Homes and Gardens, Handyman (actually pretty good..), Rolling Stone, and Inc. We used to get Real Simple but all of the ads drove me nuts.. the same thing goes for Cooking Light..
I like InStyle- it offers a good mix of celebs and fashion. I also get Budget Travel, Travel & Leisure, Conde Nast Travel, Health and Cooking Light.
An American Girl's Travels
I get Real Simple, Cooking Light, Prevention, People, Better Homes/Gardens, and Ladies Home Journal.
It's ridiculous but I love them.
I love US Weekly and Reader's Digest. My sister signed me up for Fitness..... guess she is trying to tell me something lol.
I also love Coastal Living.
I get Clean Eating, Martha Stewart Living, and will be getting Southern Living (again). My mom and I have decided to share a subscription to Traditional Home--we both got it, and while we like it, the articles are long enough where they tend to sit longer than other magazines. Clean eating is great because generally, the ingredient lists are short. It drove me crazy when I got Cooking Light that their recipes generally had 12+ different ingredients.
I like the fact, that although they'll pimp Martha's stuff when they can, the MSL editors won't totally cow-tow and will recommend other (non advertisers) stuff if it's really the best. They give the most unbiased recommendations, IMO.
I get:
I also read Cooking Light and Health every now and then.
This is the one magazine that my husband, my 12 year old son, and I always read. And it comes weekly, so it's nice to get that in your mailbox every week. And it's $10 a year (this deal is frequently offered, so don't pay the real rate!).
