So, today marks 100 days left being PG. Um, wtf?
Yesterday was far less productive than intended, though I did managed to make the planned dinner. Derek had a terrible day at work and was just tired. He's about thisclose to quitting, or at the very least finding another job while this one is so slow. His boss is treating him like crap and he's really got no way else to advance within the company. I feel really bad for him. So, he napped while I made dinner, then we cuddled while watching TC.
TC weirdness, they only just started showing TC: Texas here last week. We're usually behind the US, but not this behind. However, they're airing 2 episodes a week, so we may almost catch up. So strange.
Tonight = productivity. Hopefully my coworker is finally coming over to help with plumbing tomorrow, so I need to finish painting the ceiling and Derek's going to finish up the crown on the cabinets. Whoooooo!!!
How is everyone today?
Re: Good Morning!
Good morning, all. Today's a rainy, gloomy day in D.C., but I'm trying to not let it get to me. I have book club tonight, so I'm looking forward to the discussion (we read The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides). After that, I go home and have the place to myself until tomorrow night--Josh is on travel again in Boston. However, he might meet up with my brother for dinner tonight, so that should be fun for them.
Yesterday was fine--I got another run in, did a bunch of stuff for the review website, and did some reading. I was kind of mopey that the three-day weekend was over, but I have a three-day weekend coming up again thanks to the flex day. Now I'm not so mopey.
I could not sleep at all last night - finally ended up catching a few hours at 3am on the couch - so I'm not overly cheerful today. And that was after actually going to bed early-ish. I just hope tonight is better.
DH and I both have to go get some blood tests done after work, and then home for some leftovers for dinner. Pretty quiet evening.

I really didn't want to get up and come to work this morning. It's much harder to get up when it's rainy outside. I guess I should be thankful it's rain and not snow.
Nothing big planned here. I did get everything on my list from yesterday done, so that was great. I decided at the last minute to haul out my electric roaster that I use at Thanksgiving and do the chickens in that and it worked out great.

Morning ladies.
I worked a little late yesterday and then had to run some errands. By the time I got home, the boys were eating dinner, and I pretty much cleaned them up, did bath time, and put them to bed.
Today I decided to keep them home from DC. They have full fledge colds again, and were extra clingy so I kept them home. I'm hoping being away from sick kids will help them finally get over the lingering cold.
DH is hopefully going to the doctor's today as he thinks he has another sinus infection. This winter has been brutal for sicknesses this year and it sucks.
On a side note, I can't believe my boys are 18 months today. Where did the time go. They truly are not babies anymore, and it breaks my heart.
Have a great day ladies.
Yesterday was nice. It was great to have an extra day to get some things done around the house...and be lazy.
It is raining again today and suppose to get pretty nasty. DH is finally off today and starts backs days tomorrow. He has worked nights for 7 nights now so I am anxious to have him home tonight. He is spending the day with Jordan today since he is out of school for report card day. I am sure they will spend the day sleeping and playing video games since DH worked last night and its rainy today.
Fingers crossed Jordan's report card is great!
raynes, tell Derek's boss to stop being a douche canoe.
I've been feeling surprisingly well for the last two days, which is a relief, but I'm also worried that it means something is wrong. gah, I hate that feeling. I'm 8 weeks today, weeeeee!
I have some errands to run tonight - I'm making a banner for my friend's bridal shower this weekend, and I have yet to get the supplies for it. nothing like a little procrastination.
I had a bagel with cream cheese last night for dinner, and it was GLORIOUS.

Good morning!
After I got home from the doctor's, yesterday was pretty quiet. Darian took his shot pretty well and then slept most of the afternoon.
Today, swimming lesson in the afternoon and dinner out with my girlfriends. They want me to bring Darian so I will (because one of them is moving out of the country soon) but TBH I'd much rather go without him.

Good morning. I had a nice three day weekend. We stayed very busy visiting with friends. Yesterday was meant to be my recovery/house cleaning day. Unfortunately I got a call first thing in the morning from my mom. She was on her way up to visit. She came up to tell me face-to-face about the guy that she's dating. It's nice that she told me so that it is all in the open now.
My house could still use some cleaning and I didn't cook nearly as much as planned. I'm headed to the store to today to finally buy some groceries. We'll see how much I'm able to accomplish tonight. I also really need to get in a good workout tonight. Have a great day ladies!
Ditto what everyone is saying about rain. It's absolutely disgusting here. It's actually supposed to turn to snow later this evening. I'm just hoping it doesn't get super icy. Yesterday's dr visit went fine, but we have to wait a week to get the results back. Aside from that, yesterday was a pretty chill day.
Today will be busy at work, and that's about it. Hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning. Last night I met up with my mom and sister for dinner and some shopping. I had some much fun hanging out with my sister, I wish she didn't live so far away.
Snow and freezing temps here today, it was 2*F this morning when I left the house. Tonight should be pretty relaxed, I'm making dinner and hopefully doing some reading.
I feel so nauseous and gross today. I"m guessing it's the stomach bug that's been going around. I might take a half day to just lounge and be home with this craptastic feeling. I already told DH to be on baby alert to pick him up. We got 8 hours out of the bub last night, so I at least got some sleep.
We woke up to snow this morning, too, but it was warm enough that it melted before the commute really got going. Where there is snow, it's super slippery. It's the kind that packs down well and then turns into a slip n' slide. I almost busted my arss on the walkway this morning. Thankfully, I had left the baby inside while I loaded my car.
Tonight should be general lounging and play time. I also started crocheting again. It's been interesting. I started with a hat for the bub. Nothing like starting off easy, haha. Plus, my sewing project is sort of in the middle, too. I always have too many projects going at once.
Good Morning! Looks like we're supposed to get our first snow storm which is going to suck. This town can't handle it.
I'm super excited today and can't post this on FB - but Dani that was on the knot with us was being induced a little bit ago - so baby Corbin should be here today! She's trying to keep crazy family at bay so no FB announcements!
Good morning ladies. Last night FIL came over for dinner and we had pozole that my mom made. So I provided a great dinner without having to cook it myself. I was even able to bring some for lunch today so double yay.
Today is my mom's birthday so I'll be hanging out there after work. She doesn't want to do anything because one of my brothers has to work so we're not celebrating until Thursday. I'm just going to hang there for a few hours.
Evening! It is a busy week at work both this week and next, so I will likely be popping in sporatically and mostly lurking.
Today was good. Yesterday my classroom was 52 degrees all day, but today it was 60ish, so we weren't shivering quite as much all day. I hate winter in my classroom...
Tonight I have pulled pork in the crockpot that looks amazing, and I came home to a package from my brother. He sent me a late Christmas present of a great zip jacket from Big Sky (where he is now working). It is really nice. He meant it for me to wear to work out in, but I am thinking it will even look nice with jeans.

Today was very busy at work today. I didn't even get my morning break =( But, everything got accomplished and that's what matters.
DH and I drove in to work together today and now I've got quite a bit to do around the house (dishes, complaint e-mails to UPS and Costco, cleaning up various areas of cat pee) so I'm thinking I'm going to skip the gym tonight and just get up early tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be pretty rushed since I work at the farther away hospital and then have to come home and get ready for prenatal classes and I'm really looking forward to having Thursday off.
