Ok..here's a location poll! :)

I am honestly down for either one...St. Louis is about a 6 hour drive, but I'd do it to meet you ladies!!!

And I'm thinking September would be great.  It would give me an excuse to celebrate my birthday in style!

[Poll]

Re: Ok..here's a location poll! :)

  • I voted Chicago, only because it would be a direct flight from the DC area.  I could try and do St. Louis though if thats what is decided!

That's exactly why I thought Chicago would be great .. it is way easy to get to.  BUT I'll go with the majority!

  • I voted Chicago b/c one of my BMs lives in the area and my bro/SIL and niece in Indy would come visit me if I stayed for enough time for them to come up for the day! BUT I will also do StL if there are enough people that would go to StL but not Chicago.

  • I also voted Chicago...I've always wanted to go there, plus, DH would probably come and we'd make a long weekend out of it :) However, I just looked up flights and they are a lot more than I expected....so I don't know if we'll be able to swing it b/c we have our annual beach trip in Sept as well.

  • I didn't vote bc I'm really ok with either location.  There are direct flights from NJ to both cities and I've been to both already, and liked them both alot.  So I'm not picky :)

So it's basically going to come down to budget and schedule, for me.

  • I obviously voted St Louis.  There is so much free stuff to do here and it's cheaper than Chicago also.

  • Julie I think we are out voted! lol I voted St. Louis. Chicago is just not doable for me.

  • I voted St. Louis as well - if Chicago it is then once we determine the date I'll do everything I can to get me and the DH there beforehand so I have permission to go alone! :)

I think so too.  Chicago is going to be tough for me too.

  • I don't care where it is, I'll be at either one..I didn't even vote.  Even though it will be tough for me to get to St. Louis, I'll be there because this means a lot to me.  Sometimes it is a give and take.
  • I think I just evened up the votes with another one towards St. Louis.  But honestly, I will figure it out if it ends up being Chicago.  My brother and extended family live in the suburbs so I can stay with them.  Driving downtown Chicago just makes me nervous.

  • I voted Chicago, but only because I know I can catch cheap direct flights there from Omaha. I could drive to St. Louis, though. Either way, I HOPE I can make it out...

  • I voted for Chicago.  Just because it's closer and I'd be more likely to make it to Chicago than to St. Louis, 4 hour drive vs 8 hours.

  • I voted Chicagoland!!! For a lot of the reasons above, plus I'm very familiar with it, it's gorgeous and I just love hanging out there :-)

That being said, I absolutely could do St. Louis if that is the decision of the majority...but really, really, really  hoping for Chicago!!
