Flying with a toddler?

Hi, wondering if anyone knows if I can bring 8 oz. milk baby bottles on the plane for my DD? I was able to bring bottles of water for her formula back in September when we flew last, but I'm not sure what the rules are for regular milk. TIA...

  • I think you can bring pretty much anything baby-food related.  I bring hot water in a flask, food, juice and water for all our flights (we fly both domestically and internationally).  Sometimes they make you take a sip from the bottle or sippy and they'll usually make you put it though the x-ray machine.

  • Yes

That being said, it's easier IMO to just pick up some whole milk somewhere after you get through security

    Don't drink the water.

  • Also, even though they may drink a certain amount of milk on the ground, I'd definitely try to keep it to a minimum on the plane. I've been on several flights where toddlers had too much milk and they vomited all over themselves, their parents and even some people sitting next to them.
