Rant: While drying my hair this morning, I twisted my hand wrong. The hand holding a very nice round brush that my mom bought for me. And it fell. Into the toilet. In slow motion.

It's soaking in hot water and soap right now. I'm wondering if I can salvage it. Bleach, maybe? Anyway, it bummed me out. And my hair is all wonky.
Rave: My coworker bff came up to me this morning, handed me a piece of paper and said "Happy birthday!" (My birthday was last month)
She got us tickets for The Chieftans in February, a REALLY good traditional Irish folk group. Front row seats! Dancers, pipe bands, singing, general awesomeness. lol. SO EXCITED

Rant: If the effing fire alarm goes off one more time this month, I'm going to flip out. I'm having a hard time concentrating as it is, the mid-day exodus out into the rain/snow/cold isn't helping!
Rave: I'm going to a new hairstylist this weekend and I'm super excited. My old girl hasn't been doing it for me lately, and now she's an hour away. The salon I found here is suuuuper nice. I can't wait for Sunday!
Rant: Winter can suck my balls.
Rave: ....Ask me again once Winter has finished me off.

1) I'd use the brush again, no questions asked. But I'm the opposite of germaphobe

The first snowflake fell and Mrs. I Own a 4x4 SUV But Can NEVER Manage To Get My Azz In When It Snows of course called out half a day
Rave:
My boss finally put the kibosh on "working from home" on snow days. Now these azzholes have to use their PTO instead of saying they're "working from home" and then I don't see them logged in all day long. Use all your PTO for all I care. When it hits August and you don't want to be stuck in the building... oh ***, oh dear!

Gaultry- Try doing hot water and vinegar. It will have the same disenfecting result as bleach, but won't F with your hair color.
I would totally use that brush again. I have no shame. Was the toilet bowl occupied by anything other than clean water?
Rant: FB attention wh0res are irritating me more than usual lately. There are at least 4 on my friend list that are just incessant. My mom, god love her, is one of them. For instance when it snows she will post ON MY WALL to drive carefully, instead of just ... I don't know. Calming down and recognizing that I've been driving in snow for 12 years without incident? Calling me to say hey I love you, drive safe? Texting? Something that doesn't scream LOOK AT MEEEEE!!!! on my FB wall. She is the queen of marking territory on FB and will like/comment on every.single.thing I post. I could not tell her to knock it off without causing her some serious hurt feelings.
Rave: More of an AW. It's Mr. Bang's and my 1-year dating anniversary in a couple weeks. Yay! I'm trying to think of a way to blog this event without totally embarrassing him.
Wow it has been a year?? Yay!! It's coming up on 3 years for FI and I at the end of the month. We are going to celebrate by recreating our first date - haha.

That's so sweet, I think I might try to do that too - our first date was coffee at a funky place in town and making out, lol. I think he'll go for it.
Gault, I'd definitely use that brush again. But, my toilet gets cleaned with obsessive regularity, so I have little fear of its waters.
Rant: My ear hurts. Like, inner ear. Also, my tounge hurts. I think both of these things are due to getting really crappy sleep for a few nights in a row but it's still making me kind of dizzy. I have no equilibrium today.
Rave: I start school again tonight! Kind of. I'm going to a GMAT Math Prep course at the branch of PennState right near where I work. So, I'll be in classes again. Then, ultimately, I will be getting my MBA, hopefully by fall.
Rant: We're going through some major restructuring at work and it's making me nervous. I'm applying for a new job coming out of the shake-up and I'm not even sure I actually want it.
Rave: I laughed so hard I cried at this (link) earlier.

Rave: After walking outside and having the wind whip my hair around a little bit on my way to work, it looks pretty awesome now, erasing all traces of said bad hair morning.
