Support belt for running while pregnant?

I do not quite need it, but I know it's just around the corner.  When you were pregnant and ran, did you wear a support belt?  If so, what kind did you use?  I have looked at some on Amazon and I see they come in a variety of brands and support levels.  I am not sure which to go with.

  • I got a Gabrialla one. It was ok, but I don't really have anything to compare it to since it is the only one that I tried.

When do we get to see baby belly pictures?

  • I used the Gabriella too. Based on the Amazon reviews I sized up to a medium. No complaints!

  • I just got a Gabrialla, too. I got a large, but I think it's a little big right now. I figured I would be a lot larger than most in the end.

I have nothing to compare it to, but it's fine for now. I am not running anymore Sad either save for a few intervals of jogging during my walks, but it helps with walking, too.

  • No personal experience, but I know the Fitnessista used a belt.  I can't remember what kind, but I'm certain she did a review.  http://fitnessista.com/

  • Amazon is a good resource, but you may want to also check out medical supplies stores. I found that they have better descriptions of the products which makes the decision process a bit easier.
  • Awww...you look fantastic!

For as large as my belly is, I really don't feel like it is bouncing while I'm running so I haven't worn anything while running yet.  I do have a support belt for work which inco-operates that part of the Gabriella belt.  It's a 2 part belt with that low part and then part that goes across my back and a little strap over my belly.  If I feel I need it, I wll just use that lower part of my belt.
