Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I don't think it's putting too much "out there", but I'm pretty private about my personal information and would not do it.
If it makes you uneasy, could you post it without acknowledging that it was monogrammed for you?
As someone whose maiden name is likely your last name (the other of the 3 common ones lol), I honestly figured there were so many of us that it wasn't likely to matter. Sure, someone might find me, but with a bazillion of us out there, would they know it was me?
I once tried to get a library card. They asked me name. I said Ruby E Tuesday. She kept insisting that I, Ruby P Tuesday, already had a card. It took several back and forths to realize I was saying E and she was reading P. And this was a fairly small town (<40k). And my first name is not common.
