  we went in may, so its hard to remember... but it was definitely very twisty and turny. i think at one point, you're flat on your back... it leans forward at some points. its not a "roller coaster", but definitely a lot of movement....

  No, I don't think you can ride this ride.  It is definitely too much twisting and turning.  I think there was a harness even.  It is a rollercoaster with 3D effects in a dark building.  Most of the rides at Universal are not recommended for pregnant women, including the kiddie ones like the Dr. Seuss and the ET ones.

  Ditto to PP. How you feel has nothing to do with it. Most doctors will not recommend you ride rides when pregnant. Can you reschedule the trip to later?

  I would not do this ride if you are pregnant, it's pretty hardcore  and twists and turns you alot.  My hubby and step daughter got a little sick on it and they don't have any health problems (that we know of).  I just don't think it's a good idea.  While you're waiting in line there are a ton of signs about how you shouldn't ride if you have certain health issues, and I *believe* that pregnancy is on there as well.

  My SIL did it four months pregnant and it was fine. I'm fairly certain it was not a suggestion that pregnant women ride because I'm certain she would not have done it if that were the case.

  There's a sign before you enter the castle and before you get on the actual ride stating pregnant women and people who suffer from motion sickness should not ride this attraction.

  I was wrong.  It isn't a roller coaster although it felt like one.  Here's the tester seat outside of the ride.  There is a harness. 

   

  It uses this robotic arm for the movement. I am positive that there is a restriction for pregnant women because my friend was pregnant when we went and she really wanted to ride this.  Instead, she just walked through the castle.

  Pregnant women are restricted from riding on that ride.  I was about ~20wks pg last time I went and had to sit out a lot while there, including this one.  The butter beer helped keep me company while I waited for my family to get through the ride though, lol.
