Where to live around Conroe?
Hi ladies! My husband is in the military and is looking into going to school in Conroe next year after his contract is over. Does anyone have any suggestions of where we should look at? We currently live in Kansas, and we aren't very familiar with the area. We have two little girls, so a good school is important. We are from a small town and like the small town feel. Any help would be appreciated!

We live in a new development called Woodforest that is right between The Woodlands and Conroe. Lots of the families in our area either work in Conroe or The Woodlands.

There are homes from 150k to Million +.
Another option is Jacob's Reserve, its not technically IN the Woodlands so it might not come across your radar if you are just looking in The Woodlands. It is close to I45 for easy access to Conroe and The Woodlands and is in The Woodlands school districts (if that matters). We have a friend that lives there and they are happy. It is also very close to Lonestar College Woodlands Campus if he ever needs to take classes there.

To answer OP, The Woodlands, Conroe, Montgomery all have nice neighborhoods.
