Golden Globes Pool -- Final Results!

The winner is...

JulieFe, with a *ridiculous* score of 20!

Here are the rest, in descending order.  If I miscounted anyone, let me know...it was hard to score while watching, especially since DH hogged the laptop and I had to make do with the iPad!

dr.girlfriend = 14

KimandRoss0115 = 13

Nova 726 = 12, EmeraldsCity = 12

Fitzpemberley = 11

Insominac = 10

SwankBride = 9

BlueandGold = 8

BethaBoo (guessing only in the television categories) = 1

Thanks for playing, everyone!  JulieFe, if you would like to prepare a small "badge" of your choice for the losers to put in their siggy, feel free, and post it here.  :-D

  • And, I know the foreign press loves them some Woody Allen, but Best Screenplay for Midnight in Paris?  :-P

  • I wish I were more technologically adept so that I could create a hideously gaudy badge, but I am not, so I will spare you all.

    WINNING!

    I'm so excited.  I owe it not to my own brain but to the geniuses at Gold Derby, the entertainment site at the LA Times.  I kept some of the ones I really doubted the same, like LeBlanc, Lange, and Grammer, and it paid off.  About the only one I got on my own was Madonna's award; I have been a fan for many years.

    It's probably going to win the Oscar as well.  I liked but did not love the movie.

  • These are the ones I missed:

    Best Director: Martin Scorsese, Hugo  (should've known that one)

    Actress in a TV Series, Comedy: Laura Dern, Enlightened

    Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie: Idris Elba, Luther

    Animated Feature Film: The Adventures of Tintin Screenplay, Motion Picture: Woody Allen, Midnight in Paris

     Thanks for putting this together! Congratulations to the winner!
