Maybe this is a dumb question BUT I have to ask someone and I know you ladies won't make me feel dumb even if I'm asking silly questions
So, I starting charting after H and I got married and then got lazy and quit doing it. I started temping again this week and I should be past ovulation already (I'm on CD 24) but my temps seem low for that. Has anyone experienced colder temps in the winter than in the summer?
TIA!
Re: Charting question

this exactly. You can start charting in the middle, but there will be no way for you tell at the point if you've ovulated or not. Low temps could mean that you did already. without a basline like ogrady said, there's no confirmation.
Just because it's CD24 doesn't mean you ovulated either. Just from experience I can ovulate anywhere from CD14 to CD23. all depends on stress levels. I have an "irregular" regular cycle. 2 longer, 1 short. usually...

Thanks ladies! I guess I was assuming my post ovulation temps would be pretty close to where they've been in previous months. You're right though, starting mid-cycle is probably not the best idea
