Dude, people are crazy, fb post I just found

I don't actually know this person.  She was friends with DH in High School.  Apparently she's become crazier through the years.

OP:""Finally a law that makes sense!! To all you babies having babies because you think it's cute to have one: pregnancy is no longer an excuse to quit school, truancy will come after you and your parents, pregnancy related appointments no longer excused absences, any and all appointments must be made after school hours, and after the delivery you have exactly one school week to return to school. If you cannot abide by the new pregnancy laws set to start 4/1/2012 you will be forced by law to give your child up to the state until you can prove to be a fit parent and support yourself. So dumb ass kids, you better think twice before you think it's cute to have a baby when you can't even take care of your own self first!!

R1. about time they make things difficult for kids having babies.
Think taking them away is a bit harsh but I'm sure there are good reasons....

OP. don't think it's harsh because when they have these kids the working person supports them because they can't even take care of themselves let alone a child. I think it's perfect maybe it will stop 12 and 13 year olds from having sex and claiming welfare

R1. I definitely agree.
I just couldn't imagine giving up a baby... Granted I was 20 before my oldest was born. Guess that's their price to pay for being stupid..

OP.  I have to agree with that, I have no problem with the 16-17 year olds as long as they hold their jobs and school. My daughter was born one week after I turned 18 but I still finished school and dis what I had to do to support her. These kids think it's fun and games and pawn their kids off on people, have no education, and sit at home all day smoking their cigarettes and weed claiming welfare when they are perfectly capable of holding a job. The ones who deserve children do what they have to do, the other kids expect everyone else to take care of their responsibility so they can still be a "kid". So in that case they don't deserve children anyway, because all their kids will grow up to be the same piece of *** they are. So I have to honestly agree with this new law

R2.   this gonna be a federal law or just state?

OP.  supposed to be nationwide. There will still be those few to find loop holes, but for the most part they're cracking down pretty hard it seems doesn't it

R3. wont hold up. Laws like that never do.

OP.  it will, just not in this state because we have too many of those certain kind of people (you know the kind I'm talking of) that take *** for granted and live to find loop holes. Louisiana is the most corrupt state when it comes to welfare, but it will hold up in most other places because they don't take *** like this place does. Especially when the law here is scared of the race card and people don't fall on that everywhere else like they do here

  • 18 is mature, yo.  It's a whole 3 years after 15.  Don't even get me started on the one who waited until she was 20.  Wasn't she worried about her eggs shrivelling up?

I don't actually know any of these people.  I was reading a post by Winged on RE, about some racism happening in tx, went to check my fb, and it was just  "there".  I didn't know what else to do with it other than to post to multiple boards on the nest.

  • O.M.F.G!!!
What you think, you will become.
  • There are so many things wrong in that post. All I can say in the end is that the poster had her kid when she was barely 18. So...pot? Meet Kettle. Just think, if she was still a high school kid who'd just delivered her baby, I bet her view would be a whole lot different when she'd be the one expected to abide by this apparent law's rules.
    Oh, FFS.
  • LOL. What an awesome law! Except the part where every f-cking bit of it violates Title IX.

I love the righteous indignation she has despite the fact that she squeezed out her kid approximately 10 seconds after turning 18. Also that she thinks taking these kids and putting them in system will make sure they don't turn out like their delinquent parents. She's full of solutions, that one. Does President Obama have her number?

I love it that this girl thinks she knows who deserves to have kids. I am not advocating that teenagers have kids a la teen mom, but its completely heinous to go around saying who does or does not deserve to procreate.
