I started a tradition of giving him cufflinks on our anniversaries because that is what I gave him on our wedding day. He does wear a suit everyday for work. I don't know what I will give him once he retires someday.

The traditional gift theme for first year is paper, so I ended up getting concert tickets for a band he really wanted to see and putting those in a card.

We don't usually do gifts any more. My H also had to work that night so I cooked him a nice late dinner, made dessert, and we rented a movie. We're so exciting...lol.

I created and printed a really nice "coupon" that included: 2 nights' stay in a really nice hotel, a full day at their spa (massages, etc), gourmet dinner from roomservice and all the sexxytime he could handle.
