Selling Wedding Dress
Has anyone sold their wedding dress online? I meant to sell it after the wedding and never got around to it. Seems like now is a perfect time and there will be no guilt of getting rid of it!
If you sold it online, where did you sell it at? Was it worth the trouble? I wanted to consign it locally, but there are only a few consignment shops locally (life in a small town) and I dont think any of them sell wedding dresses. TIA!

Ooooohh - this is kind of a good idea. Mine is a bit gross from my Trash The Dress session (and getting to be out of fashion) - maybe I could spray paint it blue and be Cinderella!
I did the same thing. Easiest thing I've done and a nice tax write off too.
Mine was gross because I never had it cleaned from my wedding, but you'd be amazed at what a few cans of spray paint can cover!! I spray-painted it blue/silver and used it for a Queen Frostine costume for my Halloween event at work (my team did Candyland).
I've tried Craigslist, Recycled bride, myweddingdressforsale, the knot classifieds...i found 2 more sites that offer free listings, haven't posted to those ones (below) yet

i think i might get more bites when spring time comes around, but i'm not giving up.
preownedweddingdresses.com charges $25, so i haven't listed there yet either, but might if nothing else works.
