I should say I could be working on the quilt.. I just don't feel like it right now! Although I can't wait to see it done.
Sadly I need to buy more fabric if I want to make curtains/valances, or pillows for the crib.. I found a super cute idea on Pinterest the other day and now I totally want to do it! It means I need more fabric

don't you want to wait to make that so you can find out if it's a girl or boy? or will you make both? the 'boy' stuff could be passed off as girl imo.. so if you have a girl, you're set.
also, a crafty friend of mine told me how easy it is to make crib sheets. are you going to???
The boy stuff isn't super boyish.. but it's blue with browns which is what I wanted. No.. because I plan to make one quilt that has a blue side and the other side is pink (instead of doing a solid backing) so it'll be a quilt that I'll use for all my babies eventually. That way if I have a boy this time and a girl next time I can still use the same quilt.. make sense?
I'm making my own sheets as well.. but they'll be a cream color or maybe a dark brown. Depends on what I find for fabric.

I don't have all the details - I know they induced this morning, but it wasn't progressing well so about 11 am they broke her water. At 4:30 she was dialated to an 8. He was born at 6:57pm. Based on no other info, I'm guessing drugs were involved at some point, but she did have him vag. since she was texting 20 minutes later! lol
