Hello! New here (kind of...)

I posted on The Nest quite a while ago after my first wedding, but have since gotten divorced and now I'm getting married again! I try to travel as much as possible, which can be quite hard with a nutty job and a life in two different states, but I love it when I have a spare moment! I hope to contribute here as much as possible, but it seems like you girls are extremely well traveled and know your stuff! Anyway, I'm getting married in Australia in August, just got back from London and the Seychelles/Mauritius this fall, and have been to the South Pacific and all over Hawaii, the Caribbean and Europe a few times, so I'm happy to help where I can!

Where did you go in Seychelles? I loved La Digue and can't wait to go back someday.
I thought Mauritius was a little disappointing, though, considering the great things people say. And especially compared to Seychelles!
Totally agree with you about Mauritius. The hotel we stayed at (The Grand Mauritian) was lovely and the service was fantastic, but overall, I was less than impressed with the island. Especially since I have also been to French Polynesia several times. In the Seychelles, we stayed on Mahe at Le Meridien and then went off to Denis Private Island. We loved Denis, but wished we had spent time in La Digue. We're hoping to go back again, probably in 2013 because I'm using all of my vacation time for the wedding this year
