All inclusives in/near Cabo?
My husband and I are getting together a big group of friends for a week long trip to Cabon in December. We are looking for an all inclusive, not crazy expensive ($3000 or less per couple including airfare if possible), and not a place with lots of kids. I'm not familiar with the area so any resort recommendations would be great!
Re: All inclusives in/near Cabo?
To clarify, I hate kids who run around screaming like banshees while I'm trying to enjoy a mojito.
We stayed here - all inclusive, adults only. They served top shelf liquor as well (a total plus in my book!)

It's also partnered with another resort that is right near downtown, so you can always spend the day there as well. They have shuttles that go back and forth throughout the day.
We got our package through Costco Travel.
If you didn't want to go the all inclusive route, I highly recommend checking out Montecristo Estates. You can book through owners for a reduced price at redweek.com (may require a redweek membership). Montecristo is a set of 3-4 bedroom homes up on the hillside overlooking the beach and a neighboring resort, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. There are about 150 homes that can be rented through the owners (like a timeshare, but each owner gets several weeks a year and is guaranteed the same unit each stay--so more like fractional ownership). You have access to all of the Pueblo Bonito resorts (besides Pacifico) and actually have charging privileges so you can charge everything back to the room. Once all was said and done, the 8 people in our party spent less going this route than we would have by doing all inclusive, plus we got to sample some of the amazing Cabo restaurants.
The problem with a lot of the all inclusives is that they are far from downtown, which is where all of the action is and where one of the only swimmable beaches in the area is located. With Montecristo we were a short bus ride away and the bus was complimentary.
