After having to wait behind the garbage truck in our neighborhood this morning, on a a steep icy hill, for five minutes no less, I made it to DD?s nanny lady only 10 minutes late! Maybe tomorrow I will actually drop her off at 8.
QOTD: DH is quite moody when he?s stressed (which is a lot of the time right now) and I wish he weren?t quite so moody. I could really do without that.
Good morning ladies! Holy moly, I can't believe I am actually getting to say this haha. Leo is watching cartoons and Jax is playing so I have a minute for me. We're in the midst of potty training here so that's...fun. So, we're hanging out around the house except for when we need to go to gymnastics today. I am super nervous about that. I miss the ease of diapers! Waaaah! But, Leo is doing well so I guess that's all I could ask for.
QOTD: His height. He's only 1" taller than me.
Good morning! Just a busy work day (so going to try to stay off here for the day... ) Going to set up 3 appointments with childminders for next week. The price one of them quoted was the same that my SIL charges us but the other lady includes food for that...
QOTD: I think his inability to clean... he might hoover the floors but I can honestly say that I don't remember the last time he cleaned either the kitchen or the bathroom... It's not like he doesn't see the need for something to be cleaned, he just doesn't do it... hence, why I want to get a cleaner!!!
I'm here listening to H and his friend hang another door. From what I can tell, this one is not going as well as the first one did.
I am also being a geek and checking all the websites that are supposed to go dark today in protest of SOPA/PIPA. So far Wikipedia and Greenpeace International are dark. LOLcats is supposed to go to.
QOTD: I love him dearly, and he is talented in so many ways, but he has an awful habit of starting projects and then taking a month + to actually finish them. He also like to stall on starting a project and then "OMFGBBQ, this has to be done RIGHT NOW THIS VERY MINUTE!"
Good Morning! It was a fairly good Wednesday around here. My computer is fixed so I am back fully online and happy again. It was also cooler today than it has been for the last couple of days and the crisp breeze was wonderful so I opened the windows and aired out the house. Leftovers for dinner and a lazy night watching tv are up now.
QOTD: I would shave off his sideburns.
Good morning ladies. Should be a busy day at work for me as well, so I'm going to try to be productive and not Nest too much. We'll see how that goes ...
QOTD: He's pretty perfect in my mind. But sometimes I wish he could relax a bit more. He has a tendancy to always want to be doing something productive.

But outside of work, I'm supposed to go to my first figure skating class tonight! So that's exciting! I'm going to try to learn the basics with a bunch of old Norwegian ladies!

Not much planned, other than nap, feed baby, cuddle, dishes, feed baby, and hope that MIL takes DS for a while today so I can finally work on his room.
QOTD: DH is such a slob. I wish he would take a little more pride in his home and in his looks. He has no issue wearing clothes with stains out in public. It is really annoying!
Morning! I was supposed to go visit a friend who has a one-week old today, but I had to cancel since I'm still fighting off my clothes. And my cousin and her husband are coming over to get the car seat fitted in her car. That's about it today. It looks nasty out, so I don't think I'll be venturing far.
QOTD: Same as Sushi, H is not very good at relaxing.
omg I'm sooo jealous! I have been telling H that I will become a famous figure skater for years...despite the fact that I can barely move from one end of the rink to the other without holding the rail and I certainly cannot stop without slamming into something....maybe there is still hope for my dream!
Morning! Not much going on here. I'm actually well on my way to finishing a third chapter draft for my dissertation. It's only the intro, but when I have it done then I'll have finished drafts of all the chapters I have started so far. Then it's on to the unchartered waters...
QOTD: I wish his moods were less dependent on mine. If he even thinks I'm in a bad mood, he gets really moody and cranky. If I'm in a bad mood, then I just want to be left to myself in my bad mood and not be forced to come out of it to avoid a fight. And sometimes he's wrong and just misinterpreted an answer I gave as being short with him, so then I've got a moody DH for no reason.

Our phone/tv/internet was down for two days, I'm so happy to have it back. H is going away for a week and I would have gone crazy without any entertainment!
Went out for a much needed ladies night, tired today and just going to relax and go grocery shopping.

I'm sick with the flu, but as I only have one more week at home I'm going to try to ignore that I'm sick. I have a hair app't today, I think I'm going to a bit darker. And tonight I'm going to dinner with my closest friends here.
QOTD: Many things, but I think a lot would change for the better in our relationship if he would not stress about EVERYTHING. He needs to relax.
