Nice All-Inclusives in Mexico (Mazatlan / RIU Resort?)
Has anyone ever been to Mazatlan or stayed at a RIU Resort? How's the area? Is the RIU chain a good one to try?
I'm looking at the RIU Emerald Bay in Mazatlan, but I haven't heard much about it. The tripadvisor reviews are somewhat mixed, but mostly good. The prices are great right now, and I'd be staying about 4 - 5 nights.
Re: Nice All-Inclusives in Mexico (Mazatlan / RIU Resort?)
Good point, I didn't really think about whether we would plan time away from the resort or not. Since it's all-inclusive, I don't think we really have a reason to leave
It's just going to be a chill / relaxing vacation. Not much sightseeing, unless there's something we just HAVE to see outside the resort.
I stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo. I really liked it. I thought it was very nice.
I had a friend stay at another Riu hotel (can't remember which one) and she said it was pretty outdated and really not that nice.
I think Riu Palace hotels vs. Riu hotels are supposed to be nicer, but I'm just going off of our two experiences.
