What grocery store do you shop at??

I'm a die hard Kroger girl but I've moved back home to Columbus and they don't have one here. There is one in Opelika, AL (by Auburn) but that's a 30-45 minute drive. :(

Re: What grocery store do you shop at??

  • That sucks! I usually shop at Kroger, Publix, and Trader Joe's so that I can make the best of all their sales. I find myself mostly at Publix lately, though. I think their meat is a lot better than Kroger's.

  • Kroger, Publix, Trader Joes, sometimes Whole Foods and we get most of our meat from a butcher shop
  • i typically shop at whole (paycheck) foods and publix. i will go to kroger if it's on my way home.
  • We get most of our packaged food at Walmuck, and meats/fruits/veggies from Publix. I'm slowing converting DH.

  • Fresh Market just opened here but it's high dollar. I miss Trader Joe's and The Dekalb Farmers Market. I'm trying to talk my man into moving to the A once he's outta the Army later this year. I miss it.
  • Publix.  I grew up only shopping at kroger but publix is so close to our house.  I really miss my super target though.

  • We don't have anything good here - so Kroger or Fresh Market. Or Sam's. When We travel, we stop at Whole Foods or Trader Joes to stock up on specialty/fun stuff :)
  • Kroger, the one in Midtown has a Murray's cheese shop inside. It's like whole foods cheese but so much cheaper. I love cheese!

Trader Joe's and sometimes whole foods. I only go to whole foods for certain things.

  • usually walmart, winn dixie and publix.
  • Mostly Whole Foods esp for meat and produce. For packaged stuff like paper goods, etc. I run to Kroger, Costco or Publix. And fyi: my grocery bills are lower since I converted to WF. You have to know how to shop there to save money but it's worth it!
  • Wal-mart for packaged items, Costco for meat, Kroger for pharmacy and quick items (it's closest), and Publix for some stuff. We really like some of the cheap Publix brand diet sodas.
  • I get produce delivered weekly by Natures Garden Delivered. For proteins I mostly go to Buford Highway Farmers Market, H Mart, or Dekalb Farmers Market. I have a costco membership as well which is great for Wine, Cheeses, Hummus,Organic Chicken and non edible home purchases.

  • Don't really grocery shop, but when I do I go to Kroger or Walmart depending if I need anything besides food. They're both really close to my condo so that's why I go to them. Miss being super close to a Publix.
