Re: IN Get Fit Challenge!
QOTD: I'm hovering at -33lbs and I'd like to lose another 17 ish to make it a round 50 which would be a um size 8-10. I'm running lots between 30-50 km per week and would hope to run a marathon somewhere this year and raise a chunk of money for Save The Children.

What I'm looking forward to in 2012:
Eating our way through (northern) Italy on vacation
<a href="http://www.thenest.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Home DThe holidays were definitely a killer to any sort of healthy lifestyle for me! But I think we're getting back in the groove. I've been focussing on cooking healthier dinners, and trying to eat better lunches - I've been doing a lot of soups which are perfect to warm me up too.
Workouts are harder. We've been good about going on the weekend, but it is just so difficult to make it during the week. I'm really busy at work and can't get out early enough to go in the evening, and the gym doesn't open early enough to go before work in the morning. Gah. I really have to work something out.

onesly, please change mine to say 'run a marathon'...I'm going to be vague and generic for now til we get settled out in CA, then I'll choose one
I've been running more often and, while we've been on the road, we find the nearest LA Fitness and go, or we've been taking yoga and pilates classes too. Super fun!
I have been off the wagon now for months! Bleh. But I'm getting back on now (soon).
Exhibit A: My super favorite delish only-at-Christmas cookies are now half price at the grocery store. I resisted! I'll have to wait until my next Christmas in Norway...who knows how long that will be.
Also, a huge priority once we get to Australia is to get a gym membership and start going. I didn't realize post-grad school would involve 6 months of limbo and getting fat. Also we'll return to our low carb lifestyle once it's just the two of us, and not SO's immediate family, being fed.
Also my casual booze consumption needs to go. There's been maybe 7 days in the past 5 months that I've drank no booze, and that's usually due to a massive hangover.
Oy, I have a lot of wagon getting-back-on to attend to. Thanks for doing this and keeping me in check!
30 is looming for me.
I'm terrified of what will happen if I don't shape up by then (11 months)!
