Did you think it was weird that Mr. Shu asked Finn to be his best man?? I found that really strange.
Also I felt bad for Coach. Her big announcement was totally down played! I understand she's not a main character, but they mentioned it and then just moved on.
I thought the proposal was so cute! It had me awwing the whole time.
From the preview she looks like she takes time to decide and I think eventually it'll be a no.
I thought the Mercedes and Sam situation is cute, but she could easily just break up with the other guy if she has such strong feels for Sam.
Ok glad I got that out!

I ADORED last night's episode, and was so ticked off that they're making us wait two weeks.
I love that their giving Sue more dimension right now. She's still a hilarious biyatch, but she's not soulless.
I think Rachel will tell Finn yes... but not now. Because her wearing that ring would make a HUGE fuss.
I think Mercedes needs to give her relationship with Sam a real chance, and I thought it was so cool that the "Summer Lovin'" was a shot for shot replica of the original. Shot at the same high school, too!
AND, I cried like a big fat baby during "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face". That song is so emotional anyway, but the treatment they did was really moving.
Oh... also cried when we found out about Finn's dad. Poor kid.

Yeah, a little, but I thought it was sweet and he had a really great explanation. I felt terrible for Finn though when he found out that his mom, while she had good intentions, lied to him.

I felt good for her too, but I'm so glad that she got the guy in the end! And I thought it was so sweet that they were singing that song with Emma. My mom thought that I should have used that song (it's really Bill and not Will) in our wedding.

According to what I've read, Mr. You-Smell-Like-Craigslist is going to do something pretty despicable in the next episode.
Okay, I finally watched it! I read this thread before I'd seen it though, so I spoiled any surprises for myself (not that I really would've been surprised anyway).
I hated Summer Lovin'. I did notice (and could appreciate) that it was true to the original from Grease, but it was just too cheesy for me.
I loved that Coach and Sue were involved (both in the song Emma sang and then in her proposal, with the roses). Loved that little touch.
I do NOT cry over TV shows and movies easily, but I teared up when Emma tries to propose to Will and he shuts her down, and then again when he proposes and says all that about how he balances her out and she does the same for him ... I loved it. So sweet.
And I loved whatever kind of outfit the girls were wearing during the "We Found Love" number. Or maybe it was an old-fashioned bathing suit? It had me wishing I'd worn my hair like that during my wedding, actually, with the side-bun and flower. Super cute.
And that song, "The First Time I Saw Your Face" made me pause. I didn't have a moment like that with H. He doesn't even remember meeting me ... so obviously I made no impression on him, either! But, it makes for sweet TV, and I'm sure other people are more clued into their feelings than we are.
Oh, I just remembered something else! I thought it was cute that Rachel looked at Finn and smiled shyly in the hall, but of course, she didn't see him look back at her. And then when he did, I totally teared up then because she didn't see him do it but it did let you know that he maybe sort of noticed her.
I obviously love them together. I love Finchel! I really just loved the song and how they incorporated each girl's relationship into it. I also just loved Rachel's version of "Without You". She really is such a good singer.
ETA: a new TV show called "Smash" is coming to NBC right after the Super Bowl. It looks like a more dramatic "Glee". I think I'm going to give it a try. Any of you?
Ehh, I haven't decided yet. On the one hand, it could be really good and entertaining. On the other hand, Katharine McPhee is REALLY talented but her vocals in the clips from the show don't even begin to touch on how talented she is vocally, and that type of thing really bothers me.
