European Wax Centers ~ anyone?
Has anyone had any experiences with using European Wax Centers? Was just curious as there's one by my house. Wanted to maybe go and get a wax but wanted to see what your thoughts were and experiences.

Re: European Wax Centers ~ anyone?
I have been to two locations. One I've been fairly happy with, the other was a horrible AWFUL experience. (I'm talking a visit to the dr. and having to get a prescription kind of awful).
The atmosphere is very...clinical. Don't expect a spa-like experience.
Which ones did you go to?
Pearland--decent
West U--nightmare
Thank you.
I had planned on trying out the Pland one and was hoping that wasn't the nightmare experience.
The one in Pearland is decent and I usually like whoever I go to but they have a REALLY hard time keeping the temperature in the wax rooms tolerable.
So you may be half dressed with the air conditioner literally blowing you away with cold air. That's my major problem with the Pearland location. Have never been to another one.
ETA: Oh! And Shanell (sp?) is my favorite waxer.
I think it depends on who you get.... But I love the West Gray location for my brazilian. It's weird to me, but I DON'T like the spa experience when I'm getting that area done! I want to be in and out as fast as possible. I forgot the name of the woman who does mine, but once I found someone I liked, I just ask for "the last person I had" every time I make my appointment.
Your first wax is free, might as well try it out to see how you like. I've also had brows done there and had a good experience, I just prefer the spa like for my brows.
