Gossip Girl 1/16 *spoilers*
I personally did not like how they started up the show a month or so into the future after what happened in the accident. I thought they were going to continue straight from there. I was so confused in the beginning, thinking, maybe it's a dream? But no.
I am annoyed that she is going to marry the Prince when she doesn't even want to be with him.

Damn it, I just want Chuck and Blair together. I think, in the end, they will be but this allows them to have a fake/semi wedding. I knew she was going to lose that baby. So predictable.
It's nice to finally see the real Charlotte Rhodes.

I didn't like the flashbacks either, but what I LOVED was the real Charlie finally surfacing!
Were they foreshadowing a Dan and Serena reunion? I couldn't tell because it looked like Dan was longing for Blair after the midnight kiss.

I hated it as well. I thought it was a dream too and that they would be back in the hospital but no. Also, I think Nate needs to get over the fact that Dan wrote a book about them. Its done and over with, move on.

I am interested in the real Charlie development. I do want to know the big secret with her. I wonder where Ivy went-maybe back to Cali?
I am super annoyed that they skipped ahead in time. I am also pissed that Blair is being so dumb and marrying Louie instead of Chuck. Although I'm sure there will be an 11th hour stop to the wedding.
Louis is kind of an arse at this point - not even charming or fun. Bleh. PP is right though, this allows them to have a wedding scene but we know from tabloid photos how that turns out.
Love that the real Charlie has surfaced but wonder how she and Lily don't even recognize her? I get that Ivy stepped in pretty recently but did the real Charlie and her mom not see the Rhodes/Van der Woodsens for a decade plus?

I was confused too about the timeline format, not crazy about it at all.
Blair's reasoning to marry Louie and not Chuck is beyond stupid. I was sad for her for losing the baby in the accident. Maybe that's why she's not thinking clearly.
I'm so glad Ivy is gone or more so for the actress that played Ivy. I was done with her quivering voice and one note acting.
I am hopeful for the real Charlie to make her grand entrance on the show. I don't think Lily and her family saw the real Charlie since she was a little girl, if at all. Her mom, Carol, was a self-imposed outcast of the family and wanted nothing to do with her mother, CeCe, or her sister, Lily. Except for the Rhodes family trust, which is why she hired Ivy, so she could get her hands on the money in trust for the real Charlie.
