London Ladies (possible GTG??)

So H and I are coming to London for the weekend of Jan. 27-29. anyone interested in a pub night that Saturday? I would love to meet some of the london folk since you are always the ones  having GTGs :)

Re: London Ladies (possible GTG??)

  • I'd be interested. Do you know where you're staying so we can plan to meet up somewhere central but still close to you?
  • Not yet :) H is going to book the train tomorrow and we will book a hotel probably tomorrow or Friday. My original post asked about recs for a decent area to stay in. One  of his colleagues recommended the Covent Garden hotel. I think that is what it is called, but I haven't looked at it yet
  • Cool beans! Once you know the area, we can help pick a pub for a starting point and go from there. If it is near Covent Garden, there is a relatively nice Sam Smith pub called the Princess Louise nearby, or there is the Old Bank of England pub, which is good for atmosphere and a bit grander.

Old Bank of England is great and oddly cheap.

I'm in for sure!  I would love to meet you.  :-)

I'm hearing two words: Pub. Crawl.

  • Have fun!  I'm not in town that weekend, or else I'd love to GTG.

  • Sorry I won't get to meet you Sushi!

We just booked the hotel at Argyle Square in Bloomsbury. It is supposed to be right near where our train arrives at. We get it on Friday at lunchtime and will be down for the pub night either Friday or Saturday (whatever works best for you guys!)
