Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Working tonight :( (ETA)
I called to ask if it would be ok for me to leave work a half hour early because i'd be taking the bus. They said that would be fine.
I was *really* hoping they'd tell me to just not come in. But they didn't. So now i will be walking 2.5 mi in the snow (half of which will be at 10pm). Boo.
And, btw, who is going to be grocery shopping at 9pm in this weather?
Also dh is working from home today b/c even though his office is closed, someone turned the phones on and there are a bunch of clients on hold for support. He's the highest ranking employee without a power outage (!) so he's working. Everyone else is getting paid today without using vacation, but he's not.
Done complaining -- at least the snow is beautiful!
ETA: Dh's boss called and he'll be getting the same pay as everyone else, plus pay for additional time worked. Yay!
