Ugh

I'm struggling. H is out of town and it's been a long day with the kid.  My BFF moved here and she's going out tonight (her ex-h has their child every Wednesday and every other weekend) for dinner and drinks with another friend that's single.  I'm totally jealous.  I'm already in my pjs having a glass of wine feeling really damn sorry for my self.  I so want to have a crazy night with zero responsibility. Boo.

*end stupid pity party*

Re: Ugh

  • I think you're totally allowed to have pity parties like that. We all have overwhelming days. Here's hoping you feel better after glass #2! :)-
  • Put your kid to bed, make sure he is asleep, then leave.

    Whoa, wait? That's not allowed?

  • I understand! I am enjoying my glass of wine as I type! My sweet lil' baby is a freaking cranky crazy toddler today! Enjoy!
  • I hear ya. I often feel like a single parent during the week, boo.  It's okay to have a pity party every now and then, enjoy that wine!

True Story, My MIL used to do this to my husband, granted he was a little older but still. He used to call his Pa-Pa because he was scared and his Pa-Pa would have him lay the phone on his pillow and tell him to go to sleep.  His Pa-Pa would stay on the phone for hours until MIL would come home just to make sure nothing happened to my DH. Needless to say, she will never be watching our kids!
